MINTAKA, the newest Seawind 1000 XL now in service and available for charter on Sydney Harbour. She is named after a star 1,200 light years from earth, the western star of Orion’s Belt. Mintaka will spend the summers in Sydney, and the colder months in the Whitsundays.

This catamaran offers a smooth and stable journey in all weather conditions, perfect for corporate functions or celebrations. She is kept in immaculate order and fully equipped with esky, barbeque, iPod and mp player connectivity, fridge, deck shower and galley, licensed to carry 20 passengers. The expansive outdoor foredeck offers a great relaxing space to sunbathe and take in the 360-degree views.

Catering/ B.Y.O. is welcome and with our professional crew and staff who know Sydney Harbour intimately, we can share the best secret locations that this gorgeous harbour has to offer. All you need to do on the day is sit back, and take in the striking views of Sydney Harbour and beyond.

Guests are advised to wear non-marking rubber-soled shoes. No wedges or stilettos.

BAD WEATHER
This is an all weather vessel. The charter would only be cancelled in the event of very extreme weather conditions, such as a cyclone.

SEA SICKNESS
It is fairly uncommon for passengers to suffer from seasickness on a harbour cruise. Should the water become choppy due to windy conditions, the skipper will cruise the more sheltered areas of the harbour. However, if a passenger does become unwell for any reason, we can arrange for them to disembark at the nearest wharf or by water taxi.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Our chef can accommodate most dietary requirements. However in extreme cases we recommend passengers arrange their own catering.

CRUISING WITH CHILDREN
Children of any age are permitted on-board with parental supervision.

CRUISING WHILST PREGNANT
There are no restrictions with regards to a Sydney harbour cruise whilst pregnant. Just ensure you notify the chef of any dietary requirements.

ALCOHOL
For safety reasons, intoxicated persons will not be permitted to board the yacht.
Substantial food must be provided alongside alcohol and our crew will check adequate food is brought for BYO charters.
